About Me.
Hi! I’m Matthew. When I was a kid I wanted to be a roller coaster engineer, but I ended up being a programmer instead. But I still love theme parks.
My wife doesn’t like theme parks. She likes to travel like an adult and go to relaxing places. I’ve grown to enjoy that too.
I started working as a travel agent to save us some money on our own travels. But then I started helping friends and family. I joined Best Day Ever last year, and now being a travel planner is my full time job. My side hustle became my actual hustle. And I really enjoy it.
Traveling is stressful. Traveling with kids is more stressful.

When I was in high school, my parents moved to Orlando. Every day after work my siblings and I would go to Disney World or Universal Studios. I didn’t know it at the time, but that experience is actually pretty useful.

I’ve got two kids of my own. I know how hard it is to wrangle strollers, schedule snack times and nap times, and deal with tantrums. I can help you avoid some of the mistakes that I made my first few trips with kids.
