I’m so excited to help you plan your vacation, and look forward to being your guide at every step along the way.
First, tell me a little bit about yourself…
Now lets get to know the rest of your travel group. Is this a solo adventure? A family get together? A bunch of rowdy friends looking to get wild at Galaxy’s Edge?
Tell me a bit about who you will be traveling with…
There’s no bad time to go to Disneyland, but cost, crowds, your own schedule, and special events (like a birthdays or anniversaries) can all play into your decision on when is the right time for you.
One of the biggest decisions when going to Disneyland is where you will stay. There are 3 Disney owned and operated hotels, plus numerous additional hotels located around the Disney property.
Which hotels are you interested in?
The Grand Californian is a Craftsman-style hotel that feels like it would be at home in Yosemite or Yellowstone. The outdoor spaces are nicely landscaped with large pine trees, rockscaping, and waterfalls. It has a nice fitness center, spa, and one of the best restaurants at any of the Disneyland properties, the Napa Rose, which also hosts a princess character breakfast.
$475-$980/night
The Disneyland Hotel is nice and modern, with a lot of fantastic Disney touches throughout. The pool area is themed to the monorail, which is appropriate because the Disneyland also has a monorail station for guests that leads directly into the park.
$300-$410/night
The recently renovated Pixar Place is a sleek and modern hotel featuring all of your favorite characters from the Pixar movies, including a large swimming pool themed to Finding Nemo.
$300-$600/night
There are a number of hotels near the Disney property that offer Disney vacation packages while not being owned and operated by Disney. Transportation at these hotels may be less convenient, and they don’t have the same sort of theming as the Disney hotels, but they are an excellent way to visit the parks on a budget.
$90-$375/night
We’re done with all the basics. See, that wasn’t so bad. But now lets see if we can add a bit of extra magic to your trip…
