There’s no bad time to go to Disney World, but cost, crowds, your own schedule, and special events (like a birthdays or anniversaries) can all play into your decision on when is the right time for you.
One of the biggest decisions when going to Walt Disney World is where you will stay. There are over 20 hotels in the Disney resort area, plus numerous additional hotels located around Walt Disney World property.
To help you choose a resort, they can be broken into a few different categories.
Disney Deluxe Resorts offer high-end luxury, exquisite dining options, and convenient transportation to the Disney parks. They also include special perks, like character dining experiences at the hotel and extended hours at select parks.
$450-$6,500/night
Disney Moderate Resorts offer a great balance between convenience, affordability, and amenities.
$250-$3,750/night
Disney Value Resorts are the most affordable hotels on the Disney property, and tend to have bright, fun themes.
$125-$900/night
There are a number of hotels near the Disney property that offer Disney vacation packages while not being owned and operated by Disney. Transportation at these hotels may be less convenient, and they don’t have the same sort of theming as the Disney hotels, but they are an excellent way to visit the parks on a budget.
$90-$375/night
We’re done with all the basics. See, that wasn’t so bad. But now lets see if we can add a bit of extra magic to your trip…
